Does the social security office hold taxes out on benefits? - social security benefits office

My mother on disability and I received a monthly check until the age of 18 and SS Social Welfare sent a W2 form and asked me if I get the money back?

It should have received a Form W-2, but a 1099-SSA. You should return any money because they do not reveal everything.

Taxes will be withheld if you automatically, but not. Loos on the SSA-1099 and see if anything in the box on federal tax revenues. Probably not.
